How does selling work on Metal Price Watch?

The Metal Price Watch used album section is a centralized location to post your sales to be sure to get the most viewers. Many customers browsing this website are looking for a bargain and are likely to check the used section first for the best deal. Unlike many other used sites, MPW focuses exclusivly on metal and niche sub-genres and is the prefect place to see your album.
Selling your album on MPW is completely free! We are similiar to websites such as Craigslist in that our sales system puts the seller and buyer into contact over the point of sale. However, we do not handle payment processing at this date. When a buyer sees an album he or she wishes to purchase, they can click the buy button. This notifies the seller of an interested buyer via email. The seller can then contact the buyer directly to arrange payment and shipping information. To prevent abuse of this system, only logged on users will be able to contact sellers.
Sellers will also take part in an eBay-esq reputation system, wherein satisfied buyers will leave positive feedback upon the completion of the sale. Using this system potential buyers know which sellers can be trusted. In this way, we can reward exceptional sellers and promote buyer confidence. This system is slated for a mid-September release.
Sellers are responsible for arranging payment for their merchandise. Metal Price Watch is not a payment processor and will never request your financial information for sales. MPW reccomends Paypal, Check, or Money Order.
